We had a fantastic time at Peaceful Waters this past weekend for our family reunion of 45 people. The facility and lodging was absolutely perfect for our needs. There were so many entertainment options for our family that ranged in age of 1 to 75. People played games in the event room, swam in the pools, lounged in the hot tubs, fished, hiked, etc. The sleeping arrangements of the ranch house and the 8 suites were superb. Very comfortable and spacious units that gave individual families privacy and comfort. The main/central areas are perfectly designed for family cooking, dining, gathering and playing. The property is so perfectly located for our family, centrally located in a beautiful setting between Giddings and La Grange, the sweet spot of the Texas golden triangle. We had folks coming from Dallas, Austin, and Houston areas and we couldn't ask for a better location. There was ample space and entertainment for a large numbers of teens/kids. Everyone had fun and commented they would sure like to stay there again for our next reunion. Robert, the Sales Manager, was so great to work with on the booking and communication. We had a lot of questions and some special requests as first time guests. He absolutely took care of us. When we arrived, we were in the very capable hands of Andy, the ranch manager, all weekend. Andy communicated very well with us and quickly resolved anything we needed, including one minor issue with an air conditioning unit. We are truly grateful to this family and team for offering their gorgeous property to our family. We made many memories here. We will be back!!

We could not have picked a better location for our 10-day 40-person family reunion. Gorgeous serene grounds, fun activities, classy and clean accommodations, and super-helpful staff. Just perfect. We're very appreciative and highly recommend Peaceful Waters. Thank you!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Peaceful Waters checks every box for comfort, cleanliness, amenities and customer service. We were there for a family reunion but the facility is ideal for any kind of gathering. Rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, kitchen has every cooking implement imaginable, pool and hot tub were clean and well-maintained, the outdoor space was well-kept and allowed for three generations to congregate in a variety of areas. Finally, Andy, the on-site manager and guest support, was extremely responsive, polite and thoughtful in his interactions. Our family was asking to return within the first 24 hours of being there. Peaceful Waters reflects its name and allows guests to enjoy their experience. Thank you for creating this special place.

Peaceful Waters is ideal for a large family gathering or reunion. First, there are more bedrooms than a vacation home rental can match: 11 or 12 depending if you count the game room at the Ranch House. The facilities include every amenity and appointment you can think of for a stay - EV / RV hookups, sports equipment, serving/catering equipment for large groups. And everything is well-maintained and sparkling clean to boot.
The staff embody hospitality. Robert, the sales manager, was responsive and anticipated a lot of our needs, sending me resources like a room assignment tool and an online property guidebook before I even knew I wanted them. Andy, the ranch manager, bent over backward to make the swimming pool available for us even though the pool deck had suffered prior damage and was being repaired.
Our entire family loved our time at Peaceful Waters. I recommend them highly with no reservations.

Our stay was wonderful – the accommodation was very clean, check-in and check-out were smooth, and the facilities were excellent. We stayed for two nights and would have loved to extend our stay. Both the Ranch Manager and the Rental & Operations Manager we were in contact with were incredibly kind and professional. For us, it was a clear 5/5 experience – we’d love to come back!
